The Vacancy
The College is seeking to appoint an Engagement Officer reporting to and working closely with the Engagement Manager in our expanding Development Office. The Development Office supports the college in its charitable purpose by building and maintaining a supportive, lifelong, two-way relationship with Members (alumni), and engaging the community of members and friends to contribute their time, expertise and philanthropy.
The post-holder’s principal objectives are to administer the annual events programme and strengthen connections between the College and its members through various touchpoints. This role will suit a confident, positive and motivated individual who enjoys building relationships, supporting a varied programme of events, and working as part of a busy, friendly Development team.
Emmanuel College, affectionately known as ‘Emma’, is set in extensive historical, yet peaceful grounds within central Cambridge. It is home to around 700 students (under and postgraduate), 90 Fellows and 180 College staff working across a variety of roles and has a reputation as an inclusive, vibrant, and friendly community.
